Photographed this awhile ago on my trip to Nintendo of America. This Nintendo DS was in a house fire and it survived. You can most certainly still play it. In fact, I did play it. FYI, it used to be Grey.Thank you Nintendo, for making such durable systems.

I’m so proud that I got to use one of these as a “current” computer growing up.
Only a few thousand of these Bell & Howell Applle ][s were ever made.
Note the teletype keyboard complete with BELL key.
It felt so wonderful typing on that thing that I even took note of it as a kid.

supertrainstationh …You’re something beyond. I envy you and at the same time I am proud to call myself a human being in regards to your oozing awesomeness!

28 years ago today the first Macintosh came to market.
I still have my old monochrome 1988 vintage Macintosh SE.

Aaah… And I still have my LC from 1990 at home!Made a video of it here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHOfdXp6KK

If you like Zelda, you need to look at this fan made trailer for a non-existent game called “Zelda: The Lost Oracle”.

Pretty much, this just demonstrates my long held assertion that Zelda has MANY, MANY more possibilities left in terms of how a Zelda game can play and how its world can be depicted.

A lot of people seem to think that there just the “mature” Twilight Princess/Zelda HD demo style, the “toony” Wind Waker/ Phantom Hourglass/Minish Cap style, and just the one off impressionist style of Skyward Sword that was arguably to present the game better considering Wii’s lack of horsepower to drastically improve Twilight Princess’s graphics in the direction of realism.

No, theres a LOT of potential left in Zelda and all Nintendo franchises left to be untapped.

There can be cartoon like Zelda’s that look nothing like Wind Waker, realistic Zelda’s that look nothing like Twilight Princess or the Zelda HD demo, and everything in between.

As for this fan concept, it basically takes a Link on model with the Wind Waker style “toon Link”, but animates him and his world in a completely unique style with movement and animation strongly reminiscent of the PlayStation platformer “Heart of Darkness”.

I think the spirit of this fan made trailer is awesomely suited to Zelda, and for Nintendo, who can be both extremely radical, and at other times extremely conservative, I just hope they are thinking big with how they want their familiar characters and worlds to be expressed on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

SuperTrainStationH… Thank you!
How stupid of me, by the way… ‘cause I thought I was already following you!
Turned out I didn’t, so here we go! ;D
